Coffee/Lunch
Gatherings
During
2004, we gathered twice--once for coffee and again for lunch. Each
meeting was an opportunity to catch up with old friends and make
new ones.
October Luncheon Meeting
We
spent our first year pulling together our “Lessons Learned”
luncheon program and handout –we wanted to coordinate a fun
program that would also be educational about how public relations
has changed in North Florida over the past 30 years (the chapter
was chartered in October, 1974).
The meeting was a success, with a good turnout and evaluations,
especially regarding the handout. The handout featured bios of past
presidents as well as tips from each. To download a copy of the
26-page handout, click below. We were able to secure a sponsorship
from Blue Cross on the handout so we wouldn’t incur reproduction
costs.
2005
Plans
Immediate
Past President Anne Dubois, APR, CPRC will take over coordination
of the Past President's Council in 2005 and will plan the first
gathering in March. Watch for an exciting scholarship program and
more in the coming year!
